Deleting your NowLine data

Last updated: 24 August 2026

NowLine has no account, so there is no profile to close and nothing of yours sitting on a server under your name. What exists falls into three buckets, and each is deleted differently.

1. Your cards, labels and settings — on your device

Every card you add, every custom label you write, and every setting you change is stored only in the app's private storage on your phone. We never receive a copy.

  • Delete some of it: swipe a card away to remove it, or clear a custom label to restore the original city name.
  • Delete all of it — iOS: delete the app. iOS removes the app's container with it. Reinstalling gives you a fresh app with nothing in it.
  • Delete all of it — Android: either delete the app, or, to keep it installed, go to Settings → Apps → NowLine → Storage → Clear data.

Once that is done, nothing you created in NowLine exists anywhere.

2. Usage analytics and crash reports

To stop all further collection: open the app and turn off Settings → Privacy → Analytics. This takes effect immediately, and the analytics SDK is not started at all on subsequent launches. Note that crash reports use the same SDK, so they stop as well.

About events already collected. These carry a random identifier that the SDK generated on your device. They contain no name, email, phone number, account or advertising identifier, and nothing you typed — no card names, no labels, no search text. This is the trade-off of not having accounts: because we never learn who you are, we also have no way to look at our analytics and tell which of those pseudonymous records came from you. Under Article 11 GDPR we are not required to acquire additional information about you purely in order to identify you.

What that means in practice:

  • turning analytics off in Settings stops collection completely, and permanently unless you turn it back on;
  • events already collected remain in our analytics provider's EU storage. On the plan we use, PostHog guarantees to retain them for one year. That is a minimum retention set by the provider, not a deletion date we control, so we will not claim that they expire on a particular day — we keep no copy of them ourselves and never export them;
  • if you can supply information that would let us locate specific records — for example the approximate dates you used the app together with details from a support conversation we already have with you — write to privacy@tilveno.com and we will delete what we can identify.

3. Your purchase

If you bought the one-time upgrade, the record of that purchase is held by Apple or Google, not by us — we never receive your payment details. Purchase history is managed in your Apple ID or Google account, and questions about it go to Apple or Google Play.

Deleting your device data does not cancel the purchase. It stays attached to your store account and can be brought back with Restore Purchases on the Premium screen.

Making a request

For any deletion request, or any other data protection request — access, correction, restriction, objection or portability — write to privacy@tilveno.com. We reply within 30 days. Please say that the request is about NowLine, and describe what you would like deleted.
